Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Cadenhead's 70cl / 61.1%
A single cask Ledaig 2005 12-year-old Island single malt whisky released by independent bottlers Cadenhead's in 2017 for their 175th Anniversary series. This cask was an exclusive release bottled for the Taiwanese retailer Home Needs Wine & Spirits (HNWS).
This 12-year-old Ledaig 2005 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration from a single sherry butt cask that yielded 510 bottles at a truly mighty natural cask strength of 61.1%, so this will likely be a bit of a bruiser but a proper treat for fans of sherried Ledaig.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
