An early bottle of Glenfiddich 30-year-old with the old XXX label that was discontinued in 2010.
Glenfiddich 30-year-old from this era is fantastic stuff - mellow and easy to drink but with a superb complexity and depth of flavour on a medium-bodied palate. This is another great after-dinner dram and pairs well with a light or mediumweight cigar.
While the exterior condition of this bottle is not the best, it remains an excellent choice if you're planning on drinking and enjoying the contents.

Complex with subtle dried citrus, raisins as I would usually like in a sherry cask but something (the smoke, grape skins ? from the sherry cask?) unwelcome reminds me of grappa.
