Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 51.5%
It's thanks to indie bottlers like Douglas Laing that long-aged grain whiskies found their audience - without their efforts many superb drams from closed grain distilleries like Port Dundas would never have seen the light of day.
This Port Dundas is a single refill barrel from the 2000 vintage, a decade before the distillery closed its doors for the final time, and has been bottled as a 20-year-old without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range, yielding 259 bottles at 51.5%. As ever, these aged grains deliver incredible value for money.
