A single cask Bowmore 1996 Hand Filled 20-year-old Islay single malt whisky available only as an exclusive for visitors to the distillery. This unique bottle was hand-filled at the distillery in 2016.
This 20-year-old Bowmore 1996 was bottled from single cask 2534, a first fill Oloroso sherry butt that had preserved an impressive 56.2% natural cask strength. These mid-to-late 1990s vintages Bowmores were superb distillates, and twenty years in a top class sherry cask has produced an absolute belter.
