Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 52.9%
Miltonduff is a name that doesn't crop up too often, as it's in such high demand for blending that even independent bottlings are pretty thin on the ground.
Hats off to Gordon & MacPhail, who seem once again to have the best aged stocks from a rarely-seen Speyside gem. This particular example is a G&M Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength release of a single refill sherry hogshead of Miltonduff 1989, bottled in 2020 as a 31-year-old at its natural cask strength of 52.9%.

Tasting Notes
Cloves and stewed fruit aromas give way to clementine zest.
Sweet baked apples complement dates and orange marmalade.
A full finish with lingering fruit.
