An old bottle of Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy single pot still Irish whiskey. This is an official bottling of Midleton Irish whiskey released by the distillery in 2021.

Barry Crockett was the Midleton distillery's Master Distiller in the 1980s and introduced the very first Midleton Very Rare annual release in 1984. Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy was bottled for the first time in 2011 to honour Mr. Crockett before his retirement, in which he assumed the mantle of Master Distiller Emeritus and is still heavily involved with the distillery.

Bottled at 46%, Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy is a small batch bottling of ex-bourbon casks and is a single pot still whiskey rather than a blended whiskey like the standard MVR. Barry Crockett Legacy is always a delightfully fruity, complex dram and is a must-try for fans of the more sophisticated end of the Irish whiskey spectrum.
