Released in 2017 and only available only from Macallan Airport Boutiques and Global Travel Retail, The Macallan Quest pays homage to the journey taken by Macallan to source the best oak to mature their whisky in.
This first release in the Quest Collection is made up of spirit aged in American bourbon casks and hand-picked sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, and hogsheads, the quest delivers flavours of fresh citrus fruits and vanilla.

Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Soft citrus fruits, rounded apple and lemon. Vanilla sweetness and subtle oak.
Palate: Apple mixed with ginger and dried fruits. Nutmeg and cinnamon soften and fade.
Finish: Great length. Soft, light fruit and medium sweet.
The Macallan quest collection was bought for investment purposes as the line has be discontinued, however the delivery time from order was outstanding and all bottles were well packed with no damage to bottles or boxes.
