Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%

A single cask Braeval 2009 12-year-old Speyside single malt whisky released by indie bottlers Douglas Laing in 2021 as part of their Old Particular range.

This 12-year-old Braeval 2009 was bottled by Douglas Laing without colouring or chill filtration from single cask 15378, a refill sherry butt cask that yielded a total outturn of 896 bottles at a great drinking strength of 48.4%, which is one of Douglas Laing’s preferred strengths and is approximately equivalent to 85 proof in the old UK imperial system. Also known as Braes of Glenlivet, Braeval is a workhorse Speyside distillery owned by Chivas Brothers and indie bottlings are pretty rare, so this is a treat.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
