An old 75cl bottle of 10-year-old Bowmore released around the turn of the 1990s, when it briefly replaced the 12-year-old as the distillery's standard entry-level bottling.

The screen-printed bottles Bowmore used in this period were elegant but impractical, as the details (including the age and distillery name) were printed in gold foil that became almost impossible to read from any distance because it was too close to the colour of the whisky in the bottle. Nonetheless, these beautiful old bottles are still highly prized by Bowmore fans.
