Bottled by: Dram Mor 70cl / 52.1%
A 9-year-old Craigellachie 2013 bottled at full strength in 2022 from a single cask 300593 by indie bottlers Dram Mor.
This 2013 Craigellachie 9-year-old was finished in a single first fill Portuguese red wine barrique cask that yielded 234 bottles at a cask strength of 52.1%. Independent Craigellachie used to be almost impossible to find back in the day, but owners Bacardi are more relaxed about it now, with gems like this becoming a welcome and increasingly common occurrence. Fans of wine finishes will not want to miss this one.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Rose tinted honey
Nose: Sultanas, peach crumble, vanilla and red apple assault your nose and stay there for a good long time before it gentles into sweet Italian dessert wine, it cries out for Cantucci.
Palate: So soft and so much vanilla, sweet and slightly bitter with a most delightful stone fruit fruitiness. A touch of charred oak.
Finish: So full, like a mouth full of dried fruit and sweet red wine with well rounded spices, it lingers far longer than it has any right to. A perfect winter Dram for by the fire.
