Kavalan Solist Port Cask is, as the name suggests, a single port cask from Taiwan's splendid Kavalan single malt whisky distillery. The Solist series is a range of single cask bottlings from different cask types, and are all bottled at full strength.

Kavalan Solist Port Cask #006A was bottled in 2021 and yielded 223 bottles at a mighty 58.6%. Although Kavalan whiskies are all bottled young (long ageing is impractical in Taiwan due to the climate, which causes huge annual angel's share losses), they are very big and characterful and packed with flavour, as anyone who's tasted one will attest.
