Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 42.2%

A 1963 Glenfarclas single cask bottled in June 2013 for the Autumn 2013 outturn of the distillery's legendary Family Cask series.

This Glenfarclas 1963 came from a single sherry hogshead cask - hence the gorgeous dark chestnut colour - and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 42.2% in 2013 with an outturn of just 198 bottles. At around fifty years of age this should be a remarkable dram, one for serious sherry lovers to crack open on a special occasion.
