Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled By: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 48.5%
A 1975 Mosstowie 32-year-old bottled by Duncan Taylor in 2008 without colouring or chill filtration in 2008 for their Rarest of the Rare series.
Mosstowie was a short-lived experiment, producing malt whisky on Lomond stills at Miltonduff distillery between 1964 and 1981. Most of Mosstowie's whisky was intended for blends and very few casks survived to be bottled as single malt, but those that have are generally excellent, showing sweet tropical fruit and vanilla flavours.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
