This Kilnaughton is a single cask secret Islay single malt whisky bottled without colouring or chill filtration in 2023 by Cooper's Choice for their Single Cask Releases.
Although there's no vintage or age statement for this Kilnaughton mystery Islay malt, we do know that it's been aged 'many years' in American oak before being finished in a Madeira cask, which should have added delicious sultana and toasted almond flavours to the expected phenolicity and yielded 312 bottles at a great drinking strength of 48.5%.
