A wonderful ancient bottle of Haig's Dimple with a Royal Warrant 'By Appointment to the Late King George V'. The late King died in 1936, which leads us to believe it to have been bottled around the 1940s.
Although this particular bottle of Dimple Haig has no size or strength stated on the bottle, it does have its original box and is sealed with a springcap, so the whisky should still be in top condition - and what a whisky it was back then, when a malt content of around 50% was standard for premium blends like these.

Yes, a lovely expression from Ardnmurchan. As young as it is (5yrs old I believe), it tastes twice its maturity!
Very well made, delicious & beautifully complex smells & flavours to savour.
