Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers 70cl / 47.5%
A small batch 13-year-old Tobermory 2008 bottled by Morrison Distillers for their Carn Mor Stricly Limited series at their preferred strength of 47.5% after a finishing period in virgin oak casks.
The official tasting notes for this one mention salted caramel, pineapple and brioche, which all sounds pretty great, especially at this price. The only downside, of course, is that only around 1500 bottles of this 2008 Tobermory 13-year-old were produced and we haven't got much, so if you want one you'll need to be quick about it.
