Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 52.4%
The 2024 release of Macallan Classic Cut Speyside single malt whisky, the popular annual release cask strength Macallan that made its first appearance in 2017 and has been highly sought after ever since. Macallan Classic Cut 2024 has been bottled without colouring at full cask strength.
Like its predecessors, this Classic Cut Macallan 2024 Edition has been assembled from 'an exquisite union of oak casks', which we're going to interpret, without much fear of contradiction, as a melange of first fill and refill sherry and bourbon casks, and has been bottled at a hearty drinking strength of 52.4%, so it should have plenty of oomph. It's great to see official cask strength Macallans at relatively affordable prices like this.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
