Living Souls is an independent Scotch whisky bottler founded in Glasgow in 2024 by a trio of whisky industry veterans: Loch Lomond distillery’s former head of innovation, Calum Leslie, with Jamie Williamson and John Torrance, both of whom are alumni of Douglas Laing. The company’s first four whiskies were released at the end of 2024, with a further two dozen or so bottlings appearing in 2025.

Living Souls differ from many other of the new independent bottlers in that rather than focusing on single cask single malt they have produced a string of small batch single malts, single grains, blended malts, and blended Scotch whiskies. Highlights from the Living Souls bottlings thus far include long-aged grain whiskies from Port Dundas and Carsebridge, several batches of very keenly-priced 40-year-old blended Scotch whisky and a Living Souls 45-year-old Bunnahabhain single malt released for the Feis Ile Islay Whisky Festival 2025.
