A great old bottle of Linkwood from the early seventies. This bottle is in great condition and should be a thrill for anyone who likes old school malts.
These old Linkwood bottlings are much more austere, flinty, minerally and waxy than current expressions. This one is usually full of grass, coal, garden fruits and delicate hints of furniture wax. You will often find delicate dusty and metallic notes as well which are hallmarks of bottle ageing. Fascinating and delicious stuff.
