This 10-year-old Ledaig 2009 matured in a single cask #700331 before being bottled in 2019 by Berry Bros & Rudd at its whopping natural cask strength of 58.6%. A thrilling coastal Island malt whisky, stuffed with fruit and smoke.

Nose: Peaty, with notes of ripe yellow fruit and new leather. Palate: A mature depth to the smoky infusion. Fruit and phenols in abundance. Finish: Long, smoky, fruity and exceptionally balanced.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
