Islay Single Malt Whisky Bottled By: Distillery 70cl / 61.7%
A single cask Kilchoman 2007 released at full strength without colouring or chill filtration in 2010. This release was exclusive to Royal Mile Whiskies, and was one of over a dozen Kilchoman casks from the same vintage bottled in 2010 for retailers and importers around the world.
Kilchoman 2007 Cask 106 was a fresh bourbon barrel from Buffalo Trace distillery and was bottled in June 2010, just a couple of weeks after its third birthday, yielding 264 bottles at its whopping natural cask strength of 61.7%. These early single casks from Kilchoman were a revelation at the time, packing remarkable flavour into every sip despite their obvious youth. Best enjoyed with a drop of water.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
