A single cask Isle of Raasay Na Sia Island single malt whisky released in autumn 2022 after bottling at full cask strength without colouring or chill filtration. This is Isle of Raasay Na Sia Single Cask 18/670.
Na Sia translates as The Six, and this series encompasses three casks of each of the Isle of Raasay distillery's peated and unpeated single malt whiskies, which together represent the cask recipe for the distillery's standard bottling.
Isle of Raasay 18/670 is one of the peated malts, and was matured in a Bordeaux red wine cask, yielding 273 bottles at a chunky 61.6%.

Great value bottle from Signatory - full of rich Madeira notes and slight edgy funk of the distillate come together beautifully! Takes water very well.
It’s a good flavour similar to the secret appetite (M) but with even more flavour. You have to add a bit of water to get it to 50% and the flavour is released in full.
