Distilled in 1967 and bottled in 1980 this is one of the earlier vintage stated releases from Knockando. So often overlooked due to the relative mundanity of the more recent offerings, these older examples still offer fantastic value for anyone interested in tasting old style bottlings. These older releases were a far cry from their modern counterparts, dry, mineral driven malts full of elegant white fruits, a soft waxiness and touches of pepper, olive oil and light phenols.
