Released at the tail end of 2022, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare Port Dundas is the fifth release in the Ghost & Rare series and highlights the contribution to the JW story of the Port Dundas grain whisky distillery in Glasgow, which closed in 2010, the year of its bicentenary.

This is the first Ghost & Rare Johnnie Walker blended by Emma Walker, who has recently been elevated to Johnnie Walker Master Blender after a decade working on the brand. For this Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare special edition, the heart of Port Dundas has been complemented by other grain whiskies from Cambus and Cameronbridge and single malts from distilleries including Clynelish, Brora, Glenkinchie, Dailuaine and Auchroisk.

Creamy, wood notes from Port Dundas embrace the vanilla and soft smoke from the “ghost” whiskies of Cambus and original stocks of Brora. Other very rare whiskies from Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie reveal notes of spiced apples alongside Clynelish, Dailuaine and Auchroisk, bringing aromas of peaches and berries.
