Indie casks of Highland Park are relatively thin on the ground, they're much in demand these last few years and they don't come cheap either. Kudos, then, to Duncan Taylor for having the stones to take this precious Highland Park 2003 and recask it into their special re-coopered Octave sherry casks for five months before bottling in 2021 as a 17-year-old.
Looking at that lovely colour we're guessing it must have worked, but sadly only 73 bottles came out the other side at a cask strength of 54.8%, so only a few dozen lucky people are ever going to know.
