A 2003 Caol Ila bottled in 2015 by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseur's Choice range. Bottled at a perfect drinking strength of 46%, this is a great example of Caol Ila.
Captured at a perfect age and strength that give the official 12-year-old a big run for its money. All the wonderful citrus, medicine, sea breeze, gristy peat oils and coastal qualities you could ask for from this distillery. A no-brainer for anyone who loves Islay whisky.
