Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 46%

Glencraig is an increasingly hard to find single malt that was produced on Lomond Stills at Glenburgie distillery from 1958 until 1981. This example in the Rare Old series from Gordon & MacPhail was distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2012 at 37 years of age and 46%.

One of the best examples of Glencraig available, this 1975 Glencraig is filled with luscious fruity complexity, cereal and butter notes with touches of wax, pear drops and hessian. A beautiful dram and proof that Lomond Stills were not just a gimmick or a curiosity.
