Description

Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 46%

A 1981 Coleburn Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2015 as a 33-year-old or 34-year-old by Gordon & MacPhail for their excellent Rare Old range.

This Coleburn 1981 came from Lot RO/15/08, and was an edition of just 161 bottles at 46%, so this was almost certainly a single cask edition. This Rare Old Coleburn 1981 has a lofty reputation, with delicious complex sherry flavours and an abundance of fruit showing how sad it is that this great distillery is no longer with us.
