Description

Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 43%

A 1980 Glen Mhor bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2007 as part of their Rare Vintage range. This Gordon & MacPhail 1980 Glen Mhor is a fine example of this elegant, old school Highlander, bottlings of which are now becoming increasingly few and far between.

Glen Mhor was a historic distillery in the Scottish highlands near Inverness. The distillery was founded in 1892 but was one of the first casualties of the 1980s whisky crisis, closing in 1983 along with its neighbour Glen Albyn and several other superb distilleries including Brora and Port Ellen.
