An old Ardmore 1981 bottled under license way back in 1994 by Gordon & MacPhail as part of what is now known as the Distillery Labels series.

This came about because Ardmore received very little attention from its previous owners Allied, who used all of Ardmore's whisky for Teacher's and were not prepared to invest the time and money to market the distillery's excellent single malt.  Thankfully this sad situation that was corrected after Jim Beam bought Ardmore in 2005.
