A lovely old Glen Albyn 1968 vintage bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice series with the classic Old Map label. As this Glen Albyn was bottled in 1991 the whisky is at least 22 years old.

The Glen Albyn distillery in Inverness sadly closed in 1983 as part of the huge distillery cull by owners Allied Distillers and was demolished in 1988. These classic old independent bottlings are all that remains today from this splendid old school Highland distillery.
