This 16-year-old Blair Athol 2008 came from single cask 18601602, a first fill sherry hogshead that yielded 313 bottles at its generous natural cask strength of 57.8%. Blair Athol is always wonderful in sherry casks like these, and at full strength this will be an intensely flavoursome whisky.
