A special edition 2007 Glenfarclas, this vintage single cask was a distillery-only exclusive bottled in 2017 from a first fill Oloroso sherry cask that yielded 369 bottles at its natural cask strength of 59.4%.
Distillery exclusive bottlings are almost always excellent casks, as most distilleries view them as a reward for dedicated fans who take the trouble to visit, plus you can generally try before you buy, which would be pretty embarrassing if the cask was a dud. This is very likely an absolute belter.
