A 28-year-old 1992 Glenfarclas bottled for the distillery's Family Cask series in 2021 from a single sherry butt (#872) that yielded an impressive 608 bottles at a natural cask strength of 56.5%.
In the arena of sherried Speyside whisky there are no safer bets than Glenfarclas. 2022 will mark the 15th anniversary of the Glenfarclas Family Casks, and the series as a whole is a remarkable testament to the dedication that the Grant family put into their distillery, and the consistently superb quality that this dedication can achieve.
