This 25-year-old Glen Moray 1992 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration from a single bourbon hogshead cask that yielded 246 bottles at a hearty natural cask strength of 50.1%. These natural long-aged Glen Morays are always delicious whiskies and this one is particularly rare having been bottled for Japan.

My usual preference is for a peaty whisky; however, the Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt 2026 was an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be trying more.
I’m not a great fan of Peated Whisky but this one is superb, gently Peated Sherry Hogshead doesn’t get better than this very smooth Whisky, a very pleasant surprise.
