A bottle of Cadenhead's Creations 20-year-old blended malt whisky bottled in 2017 by independent bottlers Cadenhead's as part of their 175th Anniversary range.
First introduced in 2013, the Cadenhead Creations are a collection of blends, blended malts and blended grain whiskies specially selected to fit into one of several flavour profiles. This 20-year-old blended malt was the first batch assembled for the 'Light, Fruity, Smoky' profile and contains whisky from Springbank, Longrow, Tobermory, Glen Moray and Glen Garioch.
These casks would have been filled no later than 1997 and were vatted together in 2009 for an extended marrying period before being bottled in 2017 without colouring or chill filtration at an ideal drinking strength of 45.2%.

My usual preference is for a peaty whisky; however, the Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt 2026 was an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be trying more.
I’m not a great fan of Peated Whisky but this one is superb, gently Peated Sherry Hogshead doesn’t get better than this very smooth Whisky, a very pleasant surprise.
