Another sublime 50 year old Glen Grant from Gordon & MacPhail, distilled in 1961 and bottled in 2011. They just seem to have an inexhaustible supply of these utterly sublime aged casks.
Expect the usual avalanche of exotic fruit, simmering wood spice, hardwood notes and a whole beehive of honey. For the money these are some of the biggest no-brainer bottlings on the market.
