Located on Yorkshires east cost, The Spirit Of Yorkshire Distillery has made a great impression on the whisky world in a short space of time.
They are a great example of "field to bottle distilling" as the barley is grown on the family farm and the water source is located deep in the chalk of their land.
With barley and water "boxed off" so to speak, Filey then has full control of every stage of the growing and distillation process.
This is Filey Bay's second single malt whisky release and it is matured in a combination of both ex-bourbon and one ex-sherry cask with a yield of 6,000 bottles. It is bottled with natural colour and un-chill filtered.
The resulting whisky is light, fruity and very moreish.
