Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Elixir Distillers 70cl / 48%
Another of the mysterious unnamed Orkney single malts that have been delighting Highland Park fans in recent years!
This Orkney distillery single malt was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2022 as a 13-year-old by our friends at Elixir Distillers for their excellent Reserve Casks series of small batch bottlings, and is a batch of four casks bottled at a lively 48%. The Reserve Casks range is always a sure thing and this looks like great value.

The only way to drink an affordable and decent strength Macallan. A strong Sherry influence with a ‘vintage’ feel, akin to a Springbank 21 I drank 25 years ago when you could pick one up without bankrupting yourself
