Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 54.3%
A full strength 13-year-old Bunnahabhain 2008 bottled at its natural cask strength by Duncan Taylor after a brief finishing period in one of the company's famed Octave sherry casks.
Duncan Taylor's Octave casks are made by splitting and recoopering a normal 500 litre sherry butt into eight separate casks, and therefore have a big impact in inverse proportion to their small capacity - this 2008 Bunnahabhain 13-year-old yielded just 86 bottles at its natural strength of 54.3%.
