Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Duncan Taylor 70cl / 53.1%
An 11-year-old Benrinnes 2010 enhanced by Duncan Taylor in one of their mini sherry casks, known as Octaves because eight of them are made from a single sherry butt.
After an initial maturation in plain oak casks, this 2010 Benrinnes spent the last nine months of its ageing in Octave Cask #9130799 before bottling (without colouring or chill filtration, naturally), yielding just 76 bottles at 53.1%. With such a limited supply, none of these octave bottlings last long, so grab it while you can.
