Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Dram Mor 70cl / 58.2%
A 2016 Dalmunach 6-year-old released at full strength by indie bottlers Dram Mor as part of their Autumn 2022 outturn. Dalmunach is Pernod Ricard's massive new Speyside distillery, built on the site of the old Imperial distillery, and this is a first fill bourbon barrel 6-year-old from the 2016 vintage.
Dalmunach only began production in 2015, and the vast majority of its output is for Pernod's Chivas blends - there haven't been any general release official bottlings yet.
This cask strength 6-year-old Dram Mor Dalmunach 2016 is both the oldest whisky we've seen from the distillery and the first bourbon cask Dalmunach we've had on our website - and it looks like a cracker.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Copper autumn leaves Nose: Sweet cereal notes combine with toffee apple with the addition of creamy fudge and a tickle of white pepper.
Palate: Sweet oatmeal although not as sweet as first expected with a very gentle kiss of anise and darker oak tones.
Finish: Warming and rich for its age. Spicy but in no way aggressive this dram leaves a very clean, crisp mouthfeel for a delightfully long finish.
