Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Yellow dried sultana Nose: Almost a white wine nose with promises of chilled chardonnay. The gentle aroma is strengthened on second visit with mild tropical fruits and a hint of ripe banana and just a touch of menthol.
Palate: Oh, that’s lovely. There is sweet fruitiness with the addition of an almond marzipan coating. This is Angel Cake in a glass but with a slightly more potent kick.
Finish: That ‘feel good’ sponge cake flavour carries on through the finish. It’s like a treat from childhood but with the grown up joy of a great single malt.
