When Caol Ila gets to this kind of age it starts to show some fascinating and very captivating notes of smoked green tea, aged medicine, minerals, pebbles, old fish nets and white pepper. More often than not the fruit quality tends to get bigger and greener as well. The majority of Caol Ilas that I've tried around this age have been wonderful.
