An 11-year-old Edradour Highland single malt, distilled on 17th July 2015 and bottled in September 2026 at 46% ABV, natural colour and without chill filtration.
This release continues Edradour’s ongoing collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery in Alto Adige, northern Italy, exploring the influence of different Italian wine casks on the distillery’s character. Following earlier bottlings in the series, this expression was finished in first-fill Cabernet and Merlot casks sourced from the renowned winery.
Cabernet and Merlot are two of the world’s best-known red grape varieties, bringing complementary characteristics to the maturation. Their influence adds layers of ripe red and dark fruits, berry sweetness and gentle spice alongside Edradour’s naturally rich, full-bodied malt character.
Drawn from a small parcel of four casks, #505–#508, this 11-year-old brings together traditional Highland single malt production with the influence of one of Alto Adige’s established wine producers.

Fabulous easy on the pallet , likes a little water, warm , buttery and nutty . Everyone I've given it to say how much they love it. Less one star as it's not as long on the pallet as I like. But I'll get more.
For a blended whisky it has character and flavour which can be unusual for a blended. The peatiness is both in the nosing and the drinking. Smooth taste and almost comparable to a single malt.
Plenty of Islay peat married with rich sherry cask influence. It needs a little water at 100 proof but the whisky takes it well. It’s delightful, a Signatory Vintage Caol Ila, what’s not to love. It’s a real belter!
