Tomatin is a distillery on the up, but indie bottlings of this splendid Highland malt seem to have been thin on the ground lately, so this Cooper's Choice single cask Tomatin 2013 8-year-old is a very welcome sight.
This Tomatin 2013 started life in an ex-bourbon cask before being transferred to a port cask to finish its maturation, hence the deep ruby colour. Cask 9531 yielded a total of 360 bottles of this 2013 Tomatin 8-year-old, at a natural strength of 57%.
