Description

Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl / 46%

An old bottle of Compass Box's The Lost Blend, an elusive blended malt released in 2014 as a vatting of three single malts. The Lost Blend was a batch of 12018 bottles with three different labels - this is the 'Bowler' variant.

The Lost Blend was a one-time attempt to recreate the famous Compass Box Eleuthera, one of the company's original blended malt whiskies, which was retired in 2005 after stocks for the recipe dried up.

For The Lost Blend, a combination of Clynelish and Caol Ila from the original Eleuthera recipe were married together with a small parcel of aged Allt-A-Bhainne for a delicious and complex dram that, at 46%, is highly satisfying stuff.
