A single cask Craigellachie 2014 8-year-old bottled in 2023 by Brave New Spirits at full strength without colouring or chill filtration for their Cask Noir series, with the subtitle Telford's Travels to the Rhone Valley.
As you might have guessed already, this Cask Noir 8-year-old Craigellachie 2014 was finished in a first fill Cotes du Rhone red wine barrique Cask 22034001, yielding 313 bottles at its natural cask strength of 55.1%. Expect cherry and berry red wine hints alongside Craigellachie's biscuity, malty spirit.

I know I bought a cask strength whisky but was expecting a nice taste but the strength overpowered the flavor, I found it harsh, but I am not a whiskey conasur. I also bought the secret Orkney signatory cask strength and that was very nice.
