An old bottle of Highland Journey, which was a short-lived blended malt launched by Stewart Laing's Hunter Laing company in 2014 soon after the decoupling from Douglas Laing.
Highland Journey blended malt was actually relaunched in 2021, but this is one of the original 2014 editions, bottled at 46.2% without colouring or chill filtration. The whiskies for Highland Journey included both ex-bourbon and sherry cask matured Highland single malts, making for a complex blended malt whisky with a nice amount of oomph.
