Something very special here, this single cask Benromach 1977 was initially a distillery exclusive, but the remaining few bottles have been released to some lucky retailers for general sale.
Benromach 1977 Cask 1266 was a refill bourbon hogshead bottled in 2017 in its 40th year. Just 124 bottles were yielded from the cask at a natural cask strength of 49.3% bursting with fruit and chocolate flavours, with a little citrus zing keeping things fresh. Fabulous stuff, in a really smart heavy oak presentation box.
